Changes to the Website:

We have two new Dragonstails cartoons added to the site, one of which is exclusively for subscribers.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we did when we saw it. The other new cartoon is a festive caper added for all to view.

You may have noticed that we have altered the search function slightly. We have two ways to search the site now.
The original reference number search is still available. This search brings up a page showing you the study with the study number you requested.

We are currently trialling a study name search that uses the power of Google to find relevant pages from the DragonsCavern website that contain the search term that you entered.
Please note that as the search facility is powered by Google, it may display what it thinks are relevant adverts in a box before displaying the page link within the website. We are currently assessing this system, and may remove this and replace it with another search function if it proves to be unsatisfactory.

The retired studies have been updated throughout the database and also, with the release of new studies in the range that are listed above, we have added these pages to the database, (without images).
If any collectors / traders already have these studies, DragonsCavern would appreciate photographs if possible. Many thanks in advance.

Voting:

Last month we asked "Would you like to see more mini collections, like the Treasure Seekers Trilogy."
The results are;
Yes 87.50%
No 12.50%

For January we are asking:

The Tudor Mint released nine large studies several years ago in painted versions, and now the crystal mementos range uses colour too.
Should there be Myth and Magic studies released in painted versions again?
Take part in the vote by using the buttons on the main page, or in the contact or vote sections.
Results will be announced in the February Newsletter.

An Interview with...

DragonsCavern has been talking to Martin Guy, owner of the Dragonsmagic.co.uk website and the Yahoo Dragonsmagic forum.

Competition:

Thanks for the response to the competition we held last month.
The correct answer was the Dragons Nest plate (4404) and could be found as follows;

Summoning the elements (3303) is divided by the number of treasure seekers (3) before the executioner is added (6222). Remove the journeys end (5021), then multiply by the number of duplicated study numbers in the Arthurian Collection (2). Finally remove a double century (200) to leave which item from the Tudor Mint?

3303 divided by 3 = 1101
1101 plus 6222 = 7323
7323 minus 5021 = 2302
2302 multiplied by 2 = 4604
4604 minus 200 = 4404

Congratulations to the winner [name not published on the website] for working this out. A medium study will be on its way to you shortly.

Requests:

If you have a prototype study, or a rare version of any please send a photo for inclusion on the prototype/rare studies pages. Use the submit form on the contact page of the website. In addition to this, the "Images Required" page of the website lists the studies that we are looking for images for. If you are able to help with those, please contact us.

That's all for this month. If you have any news, websites, announcements or comments that you would like to see in the next newsletter, or  if  you are a trader / collector who would like to be featured in an article in a future newsletter, please contact the webmanager.

Sincerely,
Webmanager
