Tudor Mint news:
=============
This years Extravaganza is getting closer, and will be held on the 14th May, once again at West Midlands Safari Park. Entrance to this years gathering will be £6.50, and tickets can be obtained directly from the club (if you didn't get a form sent to you recently from the Myth and Magic collectors club give them a call and ask for one). This years special Extravaganza study is called 'The Eunectus', and a drawing of this can be seen on the website (seach for ref# 3663).

Changes to the site:
===============
Oh boy, has March been a bad month for DragonsCavern!!
We have had several technical glitches that have caused disruption to the site.
Firstly we suffered connection problems between our local machine (that holds all our files, images and folders) and our server held at 1and1. This was due to an issue with our Internet Server Provider (ntl) who have suffered serious attacks this month, as well as problems with their network. Fortunately throughout this our site remained safely hosted by 1and1, and available for visitors to view. We simply were unable to load fresh material to the site for several weeks. This problem should be resolved over the coming weeks, as we move from ntl to a more reliable provider to give us a stable connection to internet and our server.
Secondly, we made some changes to the settings of our blog, and as a result of this we lost all the formatting and design of the site. Our website hosts (1and1) have been very helpful in sorting out a solution to this problem, and we have now been able to re-apply the design of the blog to all of the pages within it.
Finally, the technology that we use to show the latest headlines from the blog on our front page suffered it own problems this month. The company that provides this technology, FeedDigest, have created a working solution and our news headlines are back on the front page.

Speaking of which, we have re-designed the front page of the main site to make links to different sections much easier to find and reach. Please let us know your thoughts on the new design, as we can make future improvements based on your feedback.

Now that we are able to upload files to the website we have added a new story to the New Chronicles, as well as two more copies of 'The Methtintdour Times' (Issues 21 and 22). These can be found in the subscribers section. More will be coming soon from the Storyteller soon.

For access to the subscribers section, use your username and password.

General News:
===========
Have you seen the H Samuels website recently? They have a new 'webstore' and have several pieces of Myth and Magic that you can buy directly from them. They promise a fast turnaround on orders that are placed with them.

There are rumours that the Great Universal Stores (GUS) group are getting ready to sell off their Argos stores. Could this open the way for a new range of studies sold in Argos stores again...

Voting:
=====
Last month on DragonsCavern.co.uk we were asking; Should the Tudor Mint offer studies for sale directly through their website?
The results are:

Yes 90.48%
No  09.52%

For April we are asking:

Is our mobile and handheld device website useful to you?

Take part in the vote using the buttons on the main page, or in the contact or vote section. Results will be announced in the May newsletter.

Requests:
========
If you have a prototype study, or a rare version of any item please send it to us for inclusion on
the prototypes/rare pages. Use the submit form on the contact page of the website. In addition to this, the 'wanted' page of the website
lists studies that we are looking for images for. If you are able to help with those, please contact us.

That's all for this month. If you have any news, websites, announcements or comments that you
would like to see in the next newsletter, or if you are a trader / collector who would like to be
featured in an article in a future newsletter, please contact the webmanager.

Sincerely ,
Webmanager
