Tudor Mint News:
===========

Xystos are thinking well ahead it would seem. In the "Ask Xystos" area of the forum they are asking for your ideas about next years members pieces. If you have an idea, why not let them know about it by posting a comment in that area of the forum (forum members can leave and view the comments, but non forum members can only view them).

Don't forget that the editor of the Myth and Magic club magazine is seeking your submissions for future issues of The Methtintdour Times. If you have any thoughts on the new pieces, your collections, stories, artwork or ideas for future ranges please either visit the blog posting "Make it your magazine" (http://blog.dragonscavern.co.uk/2008/04/make-it-your-ma.html) and leave a comment, or contact the editor directly through the forum topic "Collectors Club Thoughts".

DragonsCavern News:
==============
It's our newsletter's fourth birthday! Yes, we have reached our 49th issue of the DragonsCavern monthly update, and seen some changes to the collection since we published the first monthly newsletter back in 2004.
We're getting back to normal now here at DragonsCavern. We've managed to set up the hard drive from the broken machine as a new external drive and accessed our files, folders and images through a work laptop, allowing us to update the website. However, we have been unsuccessful in trying to reach our old email messages and so if you recently asked to subscribe to :MyChart or made a forum request - please contact us again!

There are some new images in the prototype section of the website - the fabled "bad rock" version of OY93 The Flying Dragon, and also a reversed Spirits of the Forest.

Subscribers - new for you!! The latest two members only studies have been converted into New Chronicles and can be read within the subscribers section. Just use your username and password.

One collector is asking for your help regarding mould variations. They have told us; "As I understand it many of the mould variations have been identified as a result of the original M&M loose leaf collectors guide which  I also understand was not created by the TM but they purchased the rights to it. This original book has become pretty much the basis of all our views of mould variations...I think we should consider if the fact that a candlestick is thinner on a mould 1 than a mould 2 is really that relevant anymore, especially where the variation is only slight and cannot be clearly identified in a picture...I will spend some time going through all the mould variations and providing an initial view of whether the variation is that significant. Maybe then we can have a wider view of what people think."
With their help, we're going to be adding that list to DragonsCavern to allow you, the collectors, to make your own comments regarding whether you think particular studies have mould variations in order to create an ultimate list of mould variations. We'll mention more on the blog once we've sorted out just how to list it all.

Voting:
=====
Last time on DragonsCavern.co.uk we asked you; Is August a good time to host the extravaganza? The results are;
May - 45.45%
August - 45.45%
With the mid year releases - 9.10%
At the start of the year 00.00%
At the end of the year 00.00%

For June we are asking; Would you like to see more "extra large" studies?

Take part in the vote using the buttons on the main page, or in the contact or vote sections. Results will be announced in the July newsletter.

Requests:
=======
If you have a prototype study, or a rare version of any item please send it to us for inclusion on the prototypes/rare pages. Use the submit form on the contact page of the website. In addition to this, the 'wanted' page of the website lists studies that we are looking for images for. If you are able to help with those, please contact us.

That's all for this month. If you have any news, websites, announcements or comments that you would like to see in the next newsletter, or if you are a trader / collector who would like to be featured in an article in a future newsletter, please contact the webmanager.

Sincerely ,
Webmanager
