Requests.

Tudor Mint News:
===========
Keen eyed collectors will have noticed that the Tudor Mint website is undergoing a change at the moment. The new owners, Xystos, are currently redesigning the site ready for a launch (hopefully) shortly. The new stock of small, medium and large studies are available now, but not released until October. This rather confusing situation seems to be getting even more confusing with the Xystos reps unaware of when stock will hit the shops. However, there are certain shops already advertising the new stock, as well as several catalogue websites.

Other News:
========
Here at DragonsCavern, we seem to be getting somewhere with the new owners of the collection. We have spoken to the managing director of Xystos, who has since passed on our details to the marketing director. We have now spoken to the marketing director, and been given the details of the new [Myth and Magic] club administrator. Unfortunately at the moment this person is on their holiday so unable to respond to the two burning questions we are seeking answers to, namely (1) Is the new stock out now or not, and (2) Will Xystos continue to honour the H Samuel trilogy tokens and redeem them for the fortune finder chest. When we get the answer to these questions, we'll let you know!

DragonsCavern News:
==============

The forum has been given a new "feature". As a reward for posting you can earn drouts and now these drouts can be redeemed for "virtual studies" from the Myth and Magic collection. Just like with the real collection, there will be fresh additions around every 6 months, as well as retirements. Once you have "bought" a study you can trade it with other forum members for that retired piece you are seeking. At the moment, the first 20 medium studies, and 6 large studies are on sale (however, 3012 The Deadly Combat has already sold out!)

We promised it last month, but we WILL be getting around to it this month. In the subscribers section we are going to add the remaining Methtintdour Times issues. Remember to use your username and password to access this area.

We also have a favour to ask collectors. Have you noticed that on some of our pages, we are missing the data about the designer of a study. If you have one of those studies, we would be grateful if you could look underneath it, and email us with the details of the designer.

Also - if you have any of the Tudor Mint Chess sets, do you have the poster that explains the significance of each piece in the set? We're looking to add the "story" of each chess set to the website.

Thank you in advance!

Voting:
=====
Last month on DragonsCavern.co.uk we were asking; Should the TM retire the other ranges to concentrate on M&M? The results are:

Yes, all of them 31.81%
Retire some of them 59.09%
No, none of them 09.09%

For August we are asking;

How do want the Collectors Club to keep in touch with you?

Take part in the vote using the buttons on the main page, or in the contact or vote section. Results will be announced in the September newsletter.

Requests:
=======
If you have a prototype study, or a rare version of any item please send it to us for inclusion on the prototypes/rare pages. Use the submit form on the contact page of the website. In addition to this, the 'wanted' page of the website lists studies that we are looking for images for. If you are able to help with those, please contact us.

That's all for this month. If you have any news, websites, announcements or comments that you would like to see in the next newsletter, or if you are a trader / collector who would like to be featured in an article in a future newsletter, please contact the webmanager.

Sincerely ,
Webmanager
