Tudor Mint News:
===========
So, it's almost time for the 2008 Extravaganza - and of course the first from the new owners, Xystos. We'll be there on Sunday 10th August at Alton Towers to see the future direction of the collection, as well as buying some of the new studies and (hopefully) winning one or more of the big prizes on offer.
The members draw has three "number 1" studies; 'Battle for the Last Fire Crystal', 'Guardian of the Elven Tree' and 'Dream Machine' as well as an inscribed decanter set and an inscribed tankard. Images of the decanter and tankard can be seen in the blog.
We're also looking forward to seeing the sketches from Jessica for an idea we mooted some time ago - "Clan Dragons" may yet become a reality it seems.
If you're going to the Extravaganza we'll see you there, and if you're not - you've still got time to buy your tickets! As Xystos have said in the forum "If you haven't bought your ticket yet there's still time, just telephone the club on 0191 499 1571 and Cheryl will get them out first class post. If there isn't time to post it, you can collect it on the door by showing your membership card."

DragonsCavern News:
==============
We've not done much on the website over the past month apart from add an image of the new Christmas piece - Jingle Bells - after we ordered and received ours quickly from a retailer. You can get yours early too if you order via our friends at TMCollectables. The blog has full details (and a clickable link) about where to order from.
The Methtintdour Concordance - our ultimate guide to the land of Methtintdour - will be added to over the next month as we have time to dedicate to getting more and more information added to it. If you want to help as well, it's easy to sign into the concordance and become a contributor.
We're hoping that by the end of August we'll have added all people, places and events from "The Stracyl of Unity", as well as working through "The New Chronicles". Once that's done, we'll be working through the previous issues of the Methtintdour Times and adding details from those magazines.
The Concordance can be found at http://concordance.methtintdour.co.uk

Requests:
=======
If you have a prototype study, or a rare version of any item please send it to us for inclusion on the prototypes/rare pages. Use the submit form on the contact page of the website. In addition to this, the 'wanted' page of the website lists studies that we are looking for images for. If you are able to help with those, please contact us.

That's all for this month. If you have any news, websites, announcements or comments that you would like to see in the next newsletter, or if you are a trader / collector who would like to be featured in an article in a future newsletter, please contact the webmanager.

Sincerely ,
