Tudor Mint new additions:
There are no new releases from the Tudor Mint this month, but if you are a member of the Myth and Magic Collectors Club then you should have received your latest club magazine, Issue 36. Within it you may have noticed the prize draw features an unreleased study from the Argos Commissions, The Sacred Sword. You can see a larger version of this study on the website within the prototype section. (Thanks to the Tudor Mint for supplying the image). Also within the magazine there is a sneak preview of the new 2005 year piece, Imperiosus.

Changes to the site:
We have been talking to an old friend of the Myth and Magic Collectors Club and are able to announce some great new sections of the website for subscribers;
'An interview with' section features last months interview with Ian Lever, creator of the Unauthorised Collections History CDRom, and new this month we have an interview with Allan Frost, editor of the Methtintdour Times from issue 1 - 21. Allan has some exciting news to announce in his interview that is worth reading.
The second new section is 'The Methtintdour Chronicles'. This area currently features chapter 1 of the The Stracyl of Unity.
In addition to this there is a new game as well - Alchemist Wizard. It's a platform game, and should keep you entertained for a while. (Please note: this game is downloaded onto your computer as an .exe file. Although DragonsCavern have checked this for viri, we cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from the use of this code).
To access the subscribers section, you will need to enter your username and password.
Voting:
Last month on DragonsCavern.co.uk we were asking "How many studies should be released each season?" The results are:
5 - 10 - 36.36%
10 - 15 - 54.54%
15 - 20 - 09.09%
More than 20 - 00.00%
For October we are asking:
"How would you prefer the new studies to be released - At regular intervals throughout the year, or released in two blocks?"
Take part in the vote using the buttons on the main page, or in the contact or vote section. Results will be announced in the November newsletter.

H Samuels
As mentioned last month, the second of the trilogy pieces from H Samuels is now on sale. Not all H Samuels stores carry the Myth and Magic range, and so this can make collecting these exclusive pieces quite difficult. After visiting several stores, and travelling over 100 miles without successfully purchasing The Wizard Treasure Seeker, DragonsCavern spoke to members of staff in stores, as well as over the phone, to discover alternate ways to obtain the study.
No store will officially reserve an item for a customer, as this is against store policy. They will not ring you when an item becomes available either. However, all H Samuel stores are sent the stock numbers of every item that the store chain sells. This means that even if a store does not carry the Myth and Magic range, it will have the stock numbers of the pieces that are currently available.
According to several members of staff in stores you should be able to visit your local store, and ask them to find the stock number of the piece you are looking for. Once they have found this they will be able to order in the piece for you, and in around 10 days from ordering you should be receiving the item.
Please note however that listening to collectors recently, it is apparent that not all stores are aware of this, and some stores are reluctant to order in studies. In addition to this, when we tried to order SIG17 (the Treasure Seeker), in a local store, the member of staff discovered, via the computerised ordering system, that the item is unable to be ordered, even though other collectors have successfully placed orders for this item.
So, it seems that some of the exclusive Samuel pieces can be ordered, but the trilogy pieces may not be part of this. If you find that your local store is able to order pieces, please contact us as we would like to present the information to H Samuel and discover a definitive answer to the question of ordering items.

Requests:
Allan Frost, the former editor of the Myth and Magic Collectors Club magazine, is asking if anyone has a set of the original rules for The Game of Strax. These were given out at early extravaganzas. Allan would appreciate a copy of these. If you are able to scan your rules and send them to DragonsCavern we can pass them on. If you cannot scan the rules, please contact us with regards to sending him a photocopy.
DragonsCavern is looking for images of the Design a Model studies that are presented at the extravaganzas. As there are only two copies of each study made - one being presented to the member of the public who drew the design, and one being kept by the Tudor Mint, it is a very difficult task. Unfortunately the Tudor Mint does not have images available, so if you know of someone who owns any of the following pieces, please send a photograph of it to the submit address on the contact page of the website.
The studies we are looking for are; Zeus, Fight for Freedom, Mystic Moments, Check Mates, Soled Out, Wheeling Time, The Land of Methtintdour, Entering the Underworld and The All Seeing Eye.
If you have a prototype study, or a rare version of any item please send it to us for inclusion on the prototypes/rare pages. Use the submit form on the contact page of the website. In addition to this, the 'wanted' page of the website lists studies that we are looking for images for. If you are able to help with those, please contact us.

That's all for this month. If you have any news, websites, announcements or comments that you would like to see in the next newsletter, or if you are a trader / collector who would like to be featured in an article in a future newsletter, please contact the webmanager.
Sincerely ,
Webmanager
