Tudor Mint News:
===========
There is no new news about the Tudor Mint that we can inform you about at the moment. Apart from the information sheet that was sent out the members of the collectors club in September we have heard nothing more from them. We are currently trying to get the latest news from them, and will let you know as soon as we do.
Other News:
========
TMCollectables are having a massive sale at the moment. They have discounted lots of stock that has been retired, so now is a good time to get those pieces you've been after. You can contact them by clicking on the link below any study image on the DragonsCavern website. Their own website is currently being constructed and will be open for business in the near future - watch this space!
Thanks to all those people who have been completing our survey about your collecting habits. The survey is still available if you haven't yet completed it. You can view the survey at http://www.dragonscavern.co.uk/survey.htm
DragonsCavern News:
==============
Gereogs Diary is almost completed. He has been adding almost daily parchments to it recently as he quest to stop Yermej draws to an end. If you haven't read his year long diary yet, do so soon, as once completed it will be moved and made available to all visitors to read, not just subscribers.
To view the Gereog's Diary, or any other part of the subscribers section, click on the subscribers area and use your username and password.
As we mentioned in the last newsletter (September) we were in the middle of a house move. This finally took place in October and we are now living out of boxes! Our collection of Myth and Magic is slowly emerging onto the shelves in the new office, but many of the pieces are still stored safely at relatives houses! It's not until you move that you realise just how many pieces you have collected over the years.
We also have a favour to ask collectors. Have you noticed that on some of our pages, we are missing the data about the designer of a study. If you have one of those studies, we would be grateful if you could look underneath it, and email us with the details of the designer.
Also - if you have any of the Tudor Mint Chess sets, do you have the poster that explains the significance of each piece in the set? We're looking to add the "story" of each chess set to the website.
Thank you in advance!
Voting:
=====
Last time on DragonsCavern.co.uk we were asking; How do you obtain catalogue commission studies? The results are:
Order from the catalogue 66.67%
Ordered by friends 06.67%
Look on eBay 20.00%
Another way 06.67%
We are resting the vote for a while - whilst we see the future direction of the collection.
Requests:
=======
If you have a prototype study, or a rare version of any item please send it to us for inclusion on the prototypes/rare pages. Use the submit
form on the contact page of the website. In addition to this, the 'wanted' page of the website lists studies that we are looking for images for. If you are able to help with those, please contact us.
That's all for this month. If you have any news, websites, announcements or comments that you would like to see in the next newsletter, or if you are a trader / collector who would like to be featured in an article in a future newsletter, please contact the webmanager.
Sincerely ,
Webmanager
